Dennis O’Brien retired from the FBI after more than twenty-nine years as a Special Agent. During his career, he served in five FBI Field Offices and at the FBI Academy, Quantico, Virginia, where he was a Supervisor in the Physical Training Unit and responsible for the FBI’s Defensive Tactics Program. Mr. O’Brien was certified as a “Police Instructor” by the FBI in 1974 and since that time has been involved in the teaching of police officers throughout the United States. Mr. O’Brien has designed, administered and taught courses in defensive tactics, handcuffing and arrest procedures, police baton, firearms and SWAT for the past forty years. His courses have been certified by P.O.S.T. in California and B.O.M.P. in New York State. |
